Use Notepad++ to view formatted version of ITS files
The exported ITS file shows as one continuous, wrapped line of text that does not contain line breaks or indents. Follow these instructions to use Notepad++ to view a formatted version of the ITS file.
1. Make sure you have downloaded and installed Notepad++.

2. Close Notepad++ if it is open.
3. Download XML tools plugin.
Navigate to sourceforge.net to download the (x86) version.
Go here if you want or need to download a different version.
3.1. Show the zipped folder in the Downloads folder. This example is from Chrome browser.
3.2. Navigate to the Notepad++/plugins folder on your computer.
The default location is C:\Program Files (x86)\Notepad++\plugins.
3.3. Copy XMLTools.dll from the download folder to the Notepad++ plugins folder
3.4. In the downloads folder click to expand the dependencies folder.
3.5. Navigate back to the main Notepad++ folder by clicking Notepad++ in the menu bar.
3.6. In the Downloads XML Tools folder, double-click the dependencies folder to show its contents.
3.7. Copy all files from the downloads/Xml Tools... /dependencies folder into the main Notepad++ folder.
4. Use Notepad ++ to open an .its file (File/Open).
5. Under the Plugins menu select XML Tools then "Pretty print...with line breaks."
6. View the .its file in a formatted view.
