LENA SP audio storage: Best practices and FAQs

How can I match up the WAV file, the child, and the LENA processing results?

The filename of the WAV matches the filename of the ITS results file, which you can find in the Recordings screen, in the Recordings exports, and in the ITS export, in conjunction with the child's Participant ID and/or Child Key (which contains the Participant ID).

We strongly recommend that you do not alter the core filename of the WAV, as doing so removes this method of association. You can append the filename with your own child identification information if desired.

The naming convention for all files derived from a recorder transfer (UPL, WAV, ITS) reflects the date and time of transfer, the recorder serial number, and optionally an indication of split UPLs coming from the same transfer.
