Move a LENA SP participant to a different group
This article explains how to transfer an enrolled child to a different provider or agency within the same LENA Online organization.
Each child's group affiliation is managed on his or her participant record, accessed from the Participant screen.
Permissions and restrictions:
- You can move the child to any group you have permission to see, as long as that group is in the same organization as the child's current group.
LENA Support can move children between organizations (for example, to a different LENA agency, center, or study).
Please contact [email protected] and provide the following:
- Child's Participant ID/LENA ID
- Current group name (exact name as it appears in LENA Online)
- Current group number, if available to you
- New group name (exact name as it appears in LENA Online)
- New group number, if available to you
1. On the participant screen, click the participant's name.
The page for that participant will open.
2. Open the Functional Group drop-down menu, and select the child's new group.
There are two possibilities:
- Your user account does not have permission to see the new group. You can see only some of the groups within your organization.
- Please work with your LENA Online account administrator to move the child.
- The new group is in a different sub-organization.
